The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a revised Presidential Campaign Council list for the 2027 general elections, featuring Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Other prominent figures on the list include Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo.
President Bola Tinubu will head the campaign council, with Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda serving as vice-chairmen. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq are also listed as deputy vice-chairmen.
Former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari has been named Director-General of the council, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will serve as secretary. Other key appointments include Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu as deputy directors-general.
Under the revised arrangement, Wike will coordinate the APC campaign in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory, Adeleke will oversee Osun State, while Soludo will coordinate activities in Anambra State.
Their inclusion has attracted attention because Wike belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Soludo is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and Adeleke was re-elected Osun governor in 2026 on the platform of the Accord Party.
The list also features former APC national chairmen Adebisi Akande and Abdullahi Adamu, former Ogun State governors Ibikunle Amosun and Segun Osoba, former Osun State governor Iyiola Omisore, and other political figures as advisers.
The revised council includes coordinators for the six geopolitical zones and state-level campaign structures, alongside directorates responsible for mobilisation, logistics, election planning and coordination.
The APC’s expanded campaign structure is part of its preparations for the 2027 presidential election. President Tinubu is scheduled to inaugurate the council on October 14, 2026, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
