Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer Igho Ubiribo had undergone five penis enlargement procedures at a Bangkok clinic before his death in March, Thai health authorities have revealed.

Ubiribo, 43, popularly known as “Tiny”, “Denisi” and “Ego”, died on March 6 after undergoing his fifth penile filler procedure at the clinic a day earlier while on holiday in Thailand with his wife, Danielle Allen.

According to Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support, the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo had been a regular patient since 2024 and had received four previous enlargement injections between 2024 and 2025.

His fifth and final procedure was carried out on March 5, 2026. The clinic said about 40cc of filler was injected during the treatment.

Authorities said the doctor had recommended that the final injection be divided into two separate sessions. Ubiribo, however, opted to have the procedure completed in a single session.

After the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly went for a massage. He later complained of chest pain and collapsed twice before being taken to a hospital in Bangkok.

Doctors suspected a blood clot and prepared to conduct an emergency CT scan, but Ubiribo lost consciousness and had no pulse. Medical personnel attempted to revive him through CPR but were unsuccessful.

A subsequent UK coroner’s investigation concluded that the cosmetic procedure was linked to a fatal pulmonary embolism. Evidence presented at the inquest indicated that the filler injection contributed to the blockage in his lungs.

Following the renewed attention surrounding his death, Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health ordered an investigation into the clinic. Officials inspected the facility on September 7 to examine its operations and gather evidence.

The Department of Health Service Support said it would continue gathering information before referring the professional-practice aspect of the case to Thailand’s Medical Council.

Authorities have not accused the clinic of malpractice, and no such finding has been announced.

The investigation is expected to establish whether proper medical procedures were followed during Ubiribo’s final treatment and whether any professional standards were breached.

Ubiribo’s death has also renewed concerns among medical professionals about the risks associated with injectable cosmetic procedures, particularly those involving highly vascular parts of the body.
